Plain-language summary
- - Don't use Pollix for illegal content, harassment, spam, or attempts to manipulate voting.
- - You own your poll content, but you give Pollix permission to host and display it so the service works.
- - Paid plans are processed by Razorpay. Refunds are handled case-by-case via support (and as required by law).
- - AI features are optional and best-effort; don't enter sensitive personal data into AI prompts or comments.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Pollix (https://pollix.in), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue using Pollix after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Pollix lets you create, share, and vote in polls. We may change or discontinue features.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract and comply with applicable laws to use Pollix. If you use Pollix on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
4. Accounts & guest use
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information when you create an account.
Pollix may support guest usage (without a login) for certain features. Guest usage may rely on cookies to maintain session state and to prevent abuse.
5. User content & licenses
You retain ownership of the content you create and submit to Pollix (for example, poll questions, options, images, and comments).
To operate the service, you grant Pollix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely for running and improving Pollix (for example, to display your poll to voters).
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and share your content.
6. Acceptable use
Forbidden actions
- Illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive content.
- Spam, phishing, malware, or automated abuse.
- Harassment, hate speech, or incitement of violence.
- Infringing third-party intellectual property rights.
- Attempting to manipulate voting (bots, scripted voting, or coordinated abuse).
- Attempting to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities, or reverse engineer the service.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. AI features
Pollix includes optional AI features (for example, poll generation, insights, comment moderation, and anomaly detection). AI outputs are provided "as is" and may be inaccurate.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before using it. Do not include sensitive personal data in AI prompts or comments.
8. Payments, subscriptions & refunds
Paid features (if any) are processed through Razorpay. By purchasing a plan, you authorize us and Razorpay to charge applicable fees and taxes.
Refunds are handled case-by-case via support and may be granted at our discretion, except where required by law.

9. Premium analytics & voter logs
Poll creators may access analytics about voting activity. Depending on plan and configuration, this may include aggregated breakdowns (like country) and metadata such as device/browser/OS and hashed IP identifiers.
If you enable or access voter logs, you agree to use them responsibly and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
10. Termination
You may stop using Pollix at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Pollix if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, or for security reasons.
11. Disclaimers
Pollix is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pollix is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pollix and its operator from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service or your content.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or Pollix, subject to applicable law.
